CRANIOSYNOSTOSIS (syndromic and not syndromic)
Sometimes growth points of the skull stop growing. The brain keeps growing, and pushes in the points of the skull that keeps growing. In this way, the skull, and very often also the face, become malformed. If this is your case please contact us.
POSTTRAUMATIC SKULL RECONSTRUCTION
After severe traumas, there is the possibility of the skull to get a deformation, or even a missing part, and you can notice it in the patient’s look. Our team is specialized in cranial vault reconstruction.
Some cranial deformations are very obvious. Lots of them are detected because of the separaton between the patient’s eyes. The treatment of this situation is performed by correcting the position of the orbit and the position of the rest of the facial skull.
After the loss of an eye (enucleation, exanteration) it’s necesary to reconstruct the after-effect. By means of microsurgical procedures we are able to give a more aesthetic shape to the resulting deformations. Please contact us if this is your case.
In some cases, because of traumas or surgeries, and in other cases for unknown reasons, a side of the face gets paralyzed. These paralysis can be treated in our hands. The final result is determined by how long the evolution takes. Please contact us as soon as possible.
In some cases the normal growth of the face does not take place, and on the other hand, another part grows only a little or even doesn’t grow at all, moving itself from the facial axis. Please, send us a picture of you face and your contact info if you think this is your case.
FACIAL ATROPHY (Romberg’s Disease)
This unusual disease affects youg adults, in which a half of the face starts losing its volume, fat and sking becoming atrophied and in last place also the bone. That’s why the patient’s face seems to be twisted. By means of micrusurgical procedures we can transfer tissues to the face and give it the volume it needs to recover its simmetry. Please, contact us for further informacion.

EAR, NOSE, EYELID AND SCALP RECONSTRUCTION
